Middle Ground exhibition of new paintings

Taking a coffee break from painting
This summer I have been inspired by the intense colours of the pink, mauve and purple crepe myrtles that line the streets and grace the front yards of homes in Wangaratta. The dry summer makes me notice that the colours and the patterns of harvest still abound in the landscape against the intense green of the ripening grape vines. I have been painting on canvas this summer, exploring all these elements in my local landscape and other places that are near and dear to me.

You will be able to see these new paintings at my exhibition
