Exhibition at The Art Vault

May 5th, 2015 by Anita

Exhibition of recent works  at The Art Vault in Mildura

13 May – 1 June

A new series of linocut prints and paintings tracing the landscape of the Millewa region of North West Victoria opens at the The Art Vault on 13 May. An elevated perspective of paddocks and silos uses the contrast of black and white linocut prints to reveal the patterns of pre GPS cropping techniques. Colour paintings on Blue Lake cotton paper in Anita’s signature style convey the evocative colours and emphasise the patterns of this rural Landscape. Linking the colour and the pattern of both mediums are two unique colour reduction linocut prints.

Also in the exhibition are black and white linocut prints responding to Wangaratta and the Jazz festival.
